God is good! Last November in Bethlehem Jesus invited us to come to him and he will give us new power. So we invited the youth of the CCR to this amazing encounter with Jesus called “Come to me!”. And the response was amazing: youth from 50 countries together with one heart in the presence of the Eucharist at the same time interceding for one hour and experiencing a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit! From Chile to New Zealand and from Sweden to South Africa countless youth cried out for revival! Praise God for he is faithful! And thanks to all those who responded to this call. Who?

All the CCR youth are invited to a one gigantic encounter!

“Come to Me!” This is what the Lord told the youth meeting together in Bethlehem, together with CCR leaders from around the world, for the ICCRS Prophetic Consultation in November 2013. This is what we plan to do! The idea is to gather all the CCR youth worldwide, at the same time, in the presence of the Lord. Jesus is waiting for the youth of the world. During a homily in Bethlehem, Archbishop Emeritus Barry J Hickey said “our call is to have an intimate relationship with Jesus and to bring the youth of the world to Jesus, so they can also have an intimate relationship with Him”. That’s what this invitation is all about!


How?

The idea is to be with Jesus, worldwide at the same time, for one hour. Where possible we should gather in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament. What happens next is up to you. Whether it be silent adoration, a charismatic time of Praise and worship; it’s up to you.


Why?

For two reasons:

  1. To be united as youth in the CCR in the presence of the Lord – without travelling or registration fee!
  2. To pray for all the young people in the world, that they will come to meet Jesus and be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

When?

31st May 2014 at 11.00am-12:00pm UTC – everyone at the same time, together for one hour!
