The United States National Conference of Catholic Bishops has established an ad-hoc committee to foster closer ties between the bishops and the leaders of the Charismatic Renewal. The members of the committee are:
Bishop Gerard Frey of Lafayette, Louisiana, chairman;
Bishop Raymond Lessard, Savannah, Georgia;
Auxiliary Bishop Raymond Lucker, St. Paul-Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Archbishop John Quinn of Oklahoma, will be a consultant to the committee.
